Waypoint colours
Independent colours for closest guess, other guess, start, mob, treasure, rare mob and other waypoints — each with opacity (dynamic or fixed), text scale, text shadow and a distance cutoff.
Compiled from the SBO README and Modrinth listing
Skyblock Overhaul is deliberately narrow: it is a Diana / Mythological Ritual toolkit with a party finder bolted on. Below is the honest inventory — the option names are the mod’s own, and anything we could not verify is simply not listed.
Beta: SBO is pre-1.0 and moves quickly. Options get added, renamed and reorganised between versions — if a toggle here isn’t in your build, check /sbo and the repository README.
The core of the mod. SBO turns the Ancestral Spade’s feedback into geometry you can see, and marks burrows once you are close enough for the game to reveal them.
Reads the particle trail produced by the Ancestral Spade and computes a predicted burrow location, then draws it as a waypoint. It is a calculation on information Hypixel already sends you — the accuracy depends on the data the game gives.
An alternative guess derived from the direction of the arrow after you dig, for when the particle-based guess isn’t usable.
Detects burrows near you and marks them automatically, with auto-typing so each one is labelled as a Start, Mob or Treasure burrow before you break it.
Optional vertical beacon beam over waypoints so you can see them across terrain, with a beam-distance setting controlling how far away beams stay visible.
An on-screen title when a guess turns out to be wrong, so you stop running toward a dead lead.
An on-screen title at the end of a burrow chain. Recent builds also added an ongoing-chains display showing started chains and currently visible waypoints.
/sboclearburrows (alias /sbocb) wipes stale burrow waypoints when the world state and the mod’s picture drift apart.
Diana is a travel game. SBO’s warp module decides whether a hub warp actually gets you closer to the guess — and refuses when it would not.
Enable the warp points you own: Wizard, Dark Auction, Castle and Stonks. SBO compares each against your target.
Suppresses the warp suggestion when the burrow is near enough to run to, so you don’t lose time on a loading screen.
The minimum number of blocks a warp must save before it’s considered worth taking. Your threshold, your call.
Optionally compute distance on the horizontal plane only, which is usually the honest measure of travel time in the Hub.
A cutoff that stops SBO offering a warp that would land you further away than you already are.
An on-screen title (optionally rendered as a subtitle) when a worthwhile warp exists. You still press the keybind — Guess Warp, Inquisitor Warp or General Warp — to take it.
Movable overlays that count what you kill, what drops, and how long it’s been since the thing you actually want.
Counts Diana mob kills for the session, with a Diana Mobs overlay you can position with /sboguis.
Counts Diana loot drops as they land, so a session total is available without scrolling chat.
Longer-horizon numbers such as kills since your last Inquisitor. /sboresetstatstracker clears it; /sboreloadstats refreshes.
Keeps your magic find in view, since it is the number that governs every rare-drop expectation on this page.
/sbopastevents (aliases /sbopevents, /sbopde) browses previous Diana mayor periods rather than only the current session.
A configurable idle cutoff (the Modrinth listing describes a range of roughly 15–900 seconds) so standing still doesn’t inflate your rates.
An option for lootshare parties, treating drops as shared when computing your numbers. There is also a Hide LS Stats option that extends to the Diana Mobs overlay.
/sboresetsession and /sboresetmayortracker clear the session and per-mayor counters independently.
/sbodc (alias /sbodropchances) shows drop chance information in game.
/sbocheck [player] looks up a player’s Diana stats; /sbocheckparty does the same across your party.
Tracker data lives in config/sbo/. The project’s wiki documents copying those JSON files when moving between Minecraft versions so stats, past events and achievements carry over.
When something rare drops, SBO can tell you loudly and tell your party for you.
Posts a formatted line in your own chat when a tracked drop lands.
An on-screen announcement for drops you don’t want to miss while fighting.
Optionally includes a price in the announcement title.
Automatically posts the drop to party chat — the social half of lootshare etiquette, handled for you.
Rewrite the announcement text per drop using placeholders such as {mf}, {amount} and {percentage}.
| Drop | Party command |
|---|---|
| Chimera | !chim |
| Manti-Core | !core |
| Fateful Stinger | !stinger |
| Brain Food | !bf |
| Shimmering Wool | !wool |
Separate sound events exist for Chimera, Brain Food, Manti-Core, Fateful Stinger, Shimmering Wool, Relic, Daedalus Stick and a misc bucket (Crown, Souvenir and similar). Only the Rare Spawn event has a default sound; the rest are unset until you choose one.
Inquisitors, Manticores, Sphinxes and King Minos are the whole reason people grind the event. SBO makes sure nobody in the party misses one.
Broadcasts the coordinates of a rare spawn to your party automatically, with a Send Coords keybind for manual sharing.
Turns incoming party coordinates into waypoints on your side, so a shared Inquisitor is a marker rather than a number in chat you have to parse.
Applies a glow/highlight to rare mobs so they stand out in a crowded mob pile.
Distinct spawn announcements for Inquisitor, Manticore, Sphinx and King Minos, plus cocoon notifications. Recent versions colour the titles differently per mob type.
Alerts on a rare mob’s health so a party can coordinate the kill instead of losing it.
An overlay flagging shuriken status during rare-mob fights.
Works out the answer to the Sphinx’s riddle and shows it. A recent release added a dedicated Sphinx keybind.
Rare-mob waypoints have their own colour and are removed automatically once they are no longer relevant, including world detection for solo players.
Hypixel has no in-game party finder for Diana. SBO ships its own — originally a separate ChatTriggers module, now built into the mod.
/sbopfA dedicated in-game screen for listing and joining Diana parties, with a customisable UI including scaling.
Automatically invites players who meet the requirements you set for your party, instead of you reading applications one at a time.
Puts your party back in the queue automatically when a member leaves, so a four-man doesn’t quietly become a two-man.
/sborequeue and /sbodequeue drive the queue from chat when you don’t want to open the screen.
/sbocheckparty (aliases /sbocheckp, /sbocp) checks your current party’s Diana stats; /sbocheck [player] checks one person.
The party finder talks to the developers’ own backend to match players. Version 0.5.1 was a large refactor specifically targeting party finder latency and backend performance — a reminder that this half of the mod depends on a service that can go down.
Chat commands prefixed with ! that party members can type to trigger actions or pull stats. Each is individually toggleable in settings.

SBO keeps its own achievement system for Diana milestones, browsable in game with /sboachievements. Later versions rewrote the achievement logic with automatic data migration, added repeatable achievements, introduced a Celestial rarity tier at the top of the ladder, and improved readability with text wrapping for longer descriptions.
Because progress is stored in config/sbo/ alongside your trackers, achievements travel with your config — including across a Minecraft version change, if you copy the files the wiki lists.
/sboguis repositions every overlay.Independent colours for closest guess, other guess, start, mob, treasure, rare mob and other waypoints — each with opacity (dynamic or fixed), text scale, text shadow and a distance cutoff.
Drop audio into config/sbo/sounds/ — .ogg, .mp3, .wav, .au, .aif, .aiff. Version 0.5.0 revamped the system so no resource pack is required. Test with /sbots.
Separate assignable events for Rare Spawn, Inquisitor, Sphinx, King Minos, Manticore, Cocoon, Burrow Found and each tracked drop. Only Rare Spawn has a default (exporb).
Per-drop announcement text with {mf}, {amount} and {percentage} placeholders, so party announcements read the way your group expects.
Every HUD element is independently movable and scalable through /sboguis. Nothing is locked to a corner.
Individual switches for each announcer, tracker, party command and alert — run SBO as a full toolkit or as one narrow feature.
/sbo.
